But It Followed Me Home, Can I Keep It.....

I believe those were added after the fact. I don't think the stock Baja has them. Were they not there I would've added them myself. No matter how many others I've added for the sake of variety a great playing Telecaster is always "home" for me. I just seem to play better on one. Now I'm...

But It Followed Me Home, Can I Keep It.....

OK, it didn't follow me home. I had to pick it up.....and pay for it. I've been wanting a Baja Tele for as long as I can remember which with my memory these days could be as recent as yesterday. It's the closest Fender has ever come in offering a production line guitar that would rival the CS...

    All Things Funny...

The name came from a 50s B/W TV series called "The Millionaire". John Beresford Tipton was the generous donor of million dollar check to some deserving individual each show. The plot was always about the impact receiving the money would do. It always began with Tipton giving the cashiers...

True single coil vs. coil split

It depends on what "single coil" tonality someone is after. In general I would say no a split or tapped coil doesn't sound the way I want a single coil pickup to sound but that doesn't mean it's unusable. My PRS DGT SE allows me to tap both pickups I like that sound. I've also had dual...

    All Things Funny...

Give it a little longer to see if anyone else gets it. It's more of a riddle than a joke but the key to it is who is the character mentioned John Beresford Tipton and where do we know him from. Here's a hint. It came from a B/W TV series in the '50s.

    All Things Funny...

This may or may not be the proper place for this but what I'm interested in is just how many people get the joke. You'd probably need to be close to my age.

Now This Take Some Brass Balls

I register my string purchases then use the points to......wait for it......buy more strings. I'm ok with their product but I'm not paying to become their shill.

    "Clean" Boost...

There are several to chose from. I use a TC Spark Boost mini. Keeley has the Katana and mini Katana. JHS has the Prestige. All are top shelf pedals that only boost. Here's a list of even more. https://www.guitarlobby.com/best-clean-boost-pedals/

    Way Huge Klon Klone....

Mostly because when they were first produced quite a few top artists had them on their boards. My understanding is that with a single person producing them the wait time became quite extended adding even more to the price of those who sold the ones they had bought online for a tidy profit...

    Keanu Reeves P Bass

His acting is like his response to that bass. Relatively free of any normal emotion suitable for the situation.

Hope he plays better than he acts.

    Keanu Reeves P Bass

Yeah. To begin with it's actually a P/J pickup setup with a blend knob in the electronics and a custom bridge whereas a standard PBass has only the split coil neck pickup and just a volume and tone control. They're about is stripped down simple as it gets but nothing else sounds or records...
