    Pedal preamp/DI stage sound

Welcome to the forum. Wish I could be of more help here but I have never worked without a backline so I'm not the right guy to advise. Stick around though and others who have had experience with this type of setup will no doubt chime in.

Every rule has it's exceptions. Those are but a few.

Monoprice/Stage Right 15w combo chassis removal

Great info to share especially the technical side of it.

    Plekking

That's reasonable and for some greatly desired. For me it more than likely would not improve my playing and/or musical output and therefore not worth the cost especially if I had every guitar I own plekked. But if I were to once again buy a custom shop level instrument I might have it plekked...

    Strings: D'Addario NYXL Medium 11-49

That could easily be true. I was just focusing on the fact that there are less string manufacturers than there are string brands. That D'Addario has developed and uses a special steel for the NYXL Series makes perfect sense. I've found that Curt Magnan strings also feel as if he uses a higher...

Ha ha....I must be one of the exceptions to the rule as some of my forum friendships have proven to be more honest and interesting than many in real life. For those I often look back to ones that began many years ago and among them I can number some of my very best friends and soul brothers and...

Any bass players in the house? Show me your bass thread!

I might be the only one here whose primarily a bassist and have been my entire career. I've also played guitar in a few bands and at hundreds of jams but never as the sole guitarist on stage. As a guitarist I'm strictly a rhythm and riff player not the hot soloist. Upgraded Squier CV '60s...

FWIW most forums operate under similar rules as far as political or religious content goes and most honor diversity of opinion, nationality, heritage, and lifestyle. Those who do not are easily avoided. However we're not so parochial as to avoid having any forums or threads based on humor or...

Puhleese.....never compare here or the members here to those on the My Les Paul forum. Most there are a different breed entirely.

    Strings: D'Addario NYXL Medium 11-49

And yet fewer manufacturers then brands. D'Addario and GHS both produce product sold under other labels and I doubt that product is of any lesser quality unless they've been asked to do so as far as materials used. Otherwise they're using the same machines with the same operators.

    Plekking

Now.....being serious and although I have never had any of mine plekked I would not discard the idea out of hand. If I were to spend top dollar on a guitar that I intended to be the very best player I owned I might consider having it plekked but would not do it with every guitar I currently...

    Plekking

I dunno. I'll have to ask them but it's kind of an embarrassing question asking if they've ever been "plekked". Kinda personal too. ;)

Makes me worry about our future that someone can't even divide 60 by four correctly. Since you're much closer in age to these morons than I am tell me please. How the hell did they ever graduate from HS let alone pass a college entrance exam? Does a SAT have minus scoring? I want to avoid...

RED SKELTONS SECRET TO THE PERFECT MARRIAGE 1. Two times a week we go to a nice restaurant, have a little beverage, good food and companionship. She goes on Tuesdays, I go on Fridays. 2. We also sleep in separate beds. Hers is in California and mine is in Texas. 3. I take my wife everywhere, but...

Unfortunately this is not all that surprising. The "dumbing down" of America began long ago. It's much easier to con the poorly educated.
