I just bought a Les Paul Gibson Epiphone tribute

I just got my hands on a Les Paul Gibson Epiphone tribute. I freaking love it! I know a lot of Les Paul guitar owners would say I didn't get a real Les Paul Gibson and I understand that but it has a incredible sound, the pickups are just crazy on it and yes I've played the high dollar Gibson's before. When I say I just got it I've only had it for a few days and the first night they're in my bedroom I didn't put it down till 2:00 in the morning and had to get back up at 4:30 to get ready for work lol. I don't know what it is about Gibson guitars but I just think they're incredible. I'm 59 years old and that was my Christmas present to me LOL. I'm now waiting for the loop pedal to come in LMAO.
 
A Les Paul will do that to you :)
I'm a little confused, is it an Epiphone or a Gibson ? A photo would greatly help.

It's the new one, I just bought it through Sweetwater and it has the stamp above the neck clearly stating tribute

yep, though it has nothing to do with the above mentioned Tribute+ models from a decade ago

I guess €pi just wants to profit on a former wellknown model
 
Ah ... similar to a Studio but with a bolt on neck, bound neck and trapezoidal fretboard inserts and no pickguard. Interesting.
