Hi all - I just heard about this site and joined today. I'm a longtime user of Strat-Talk (since 2013) and have used Ultimate-Guitar and The Gear page as well.
Stratocasters are probably my favorite guitars/types of guitar, but I find guitars interesting in general. I also like to play keyboard/synthesizer sometimes. For me, it has just been a hobby, and I haven't played in a band. My family is musical - Both my parents play (and my dad was in a local band; my mom played with a group of friends at private performances sometimes), and my older brother and one of my nephews play guitar as well.
