Hi, I'm an old guy been gigging off and on for over 50 years since I was 16 or so. I took long hiatus in the middle. Still doing it this year, after..... we'll see...
Fender vintage tube amps and a Strat are my main tools. My #1 Strat was a '98 MIM modified over the years. It was #1 for nearly 20 years and was a closet classic purchased used for $175 in 2003. It's the most resonant electric I have ever had. It seems to have it's own reverb even unplugged! I've built and repaired amps, mostly Fender vintage types. Looks like a fun forum. I started out in the early 2000's on the old Weber Speakers forum.
