Born and raised in this state, and have now lived in its capital city for 30 years. Was a high school teacher for 20 years and a middle school administrator for ten. Retired and now work full time at a university where I’m finishing my doctorate.
Married 35 years, and Ms. Nutz still works as an educator in the public schools. Both Nutz offspring are grown and live in NYC.
Play guitar in a ten-piece, all-teacher ‘70s funk cover band that I co-founded with the bass player and drummer 24 years ago. We play a coupla dozen gigs a year, and have played for the POTUS three times and opened for George Clinton and Parliament.
Also play with Ms. Nutz on bass in a three-piece’90s cover band for the last 15 years. Gigged once a month up until that thing happened, and now just do an occasional gig.
