On a sunny Sunday morning in a quiet country church in a flash of fire and brimstone the devil suddenly appears.
The preacher who had just finished his sermon on the temptations of Satan drops to his knees praying to God.
The congregation fearing the devil and eternal damnation flees out of the church doors as fast as they can, all but one.
In a pew near the back an 80 year old man sits silently taking the whole spectacle in completely unafraid.
Curious the devil approaches him and asks him if he's afraid. The old man stares him down and tells him no.
The devil asks "you know who I am don't you"? The old man nods and says "yeah, I know who you are".
Then why aren't you afraid of me like the rest asks the devil.
The old man responds because I've been married to your sister for 50 years.
