Been wanting another old school classic Tele ever since leaving my late great partsotele behind:

Handled a Fender Vintage a couple years ago, but didn’t have the dosh.

Today I found a new Vintage II on sale!
Yeah baby! Closest thing to a CS Tele/Nocaster but production. $$
 
I haven’t had my CV50s down in a while. My ears are ringing courtesy of my Excelsior…and volume/pedal indiscretion :ROFLMAO:.

Heading out to a U.S. Labor Day gig with a custom Tele built for me by a former student, and a Reverend Tricky Gomez. I’ll post a pic from setup.

regular prices for each of them when new are in the € 2400-2500 range

got the single-cut used (like new) for € 1200 here in Germany
got the double-cut used (like new) from Japan for €1200 (€ 800 + shipping + German customs )

Both were great deals
- compared to what you usually get for this amount of €€
- or what you usually have to pay for a basicly custom-shop made guitar
