as the title says:
Please show us the ones you've played today
guitars or bass - with or without amps
regardless what brand
just the one(s) you had fun with for the day (or night)

today I had some fun with my 'Strats' (FGN NeoClassic NST120RAL-bk and CoolZ ZST-V)
and the Tech21 TM30

Well, I played all of the Electrics today. I’m now down to 18 electric guitars. I’ve got one on the way. I’ve been wheelin and dealin the last few weeks.

I had to retune and wipe the dust off of them, and polish them up a bit and check the switches and pots. We just started a heat wave yesterday and I’ve been running the AC. It was 99 degrees F yesterday. It’s 72 in the house. All of my guitars were sharp. I also have five Acoustics that I will deal with later today.

The one that I will be playing today is this one…IMG_0765.jpeg

How do you like your EPI? I just ordered a Casino a couple of days ago. It has P90's.
It’s stellar!
Unique sounding. The mini hums are crisp and the fretwork is spot on perfect.
The Epi P-90’s on my ebony custom are wonderful pickups.

I once had a sixties Kalamazoo made Casino: also MIJ, MIK, and Chinese. The imports always seemed like very good copies. I’ll probably grab a current Chinese version when I find a deal!

Had these two last year, but I was absorbed in some stupid search for some other guitar I also no longer have.

They were fine. Played great: sounded great. I think I was after a full thick hollow body archtop at the time. I’m over that (for a minute). ;)

Hey guys, this was a Bucket List guitar for me. I found this in the Classified section at Gretsch talk. The guy who sold it to me is named Wayne. He is the owner of the Compton bridge company.

As you can see, he changed the Mud Switch out for a tone control. He had the original switch in the case, as well as the original bridge.

The Compton bridge he sent the guitar with is awesome. Very well engineered. Set the E strings and the middle four strings intonate perfectly. The tone control is so much more versatile than the original switch that I decided to leave it as is.

It has a couple of cracks in the finish by the jack and neck pocket. But I paid less than a Gibson SG Standard, so it was acceptable to me. I really like it.

I haven't played it on a strap yet. I'm mostly a sit down player. If I stand too long I lose my balance and I don't want to hit the ground with a guitar in hand. I also do most of my guitar repair work on the floor as well. I have a nice double carpeted area in my music room to do this.

I ordered the new Denim Blue on from ZZOUNDS. They discounted it 10% and took some money off the case too. The guitar ended up costing $449.00. So I figured I would try it. They give you 45 days for a return.

I've returned a couple guitars to them in the past and they always covered the shipping to send it back.

Cool!
I suspect you’ll find it’s a keeper!
Epiphone has improved every thing over the years. They have their own factories, and build their own components now. I’m very impressed by my four!

Yeah, The Epi's from the last few years are spectacular. I wouldn't touch one of the old MIC ones. I had a couple and they were pretty rough.

My 2001 MIK goldtop is great. Now my MIC Epi’s from the last couple years are at the same level, and probably older than those are too.
