What did you do to your guitar today?

I installed a roller bridge on my LP. The stock Epi bridge had radius issues and I don't have any nut slotting files yet to fix it, so this one fixed the radius! It's an inexpensive one from Amazon, but I have to say I'm impressed with the quality. It has a decent weight to it (heavier than the stock Epi one) and the rollers do what they are supposed to do, roll.

Strings on the sunburst 66 DLX. That's it for guitars.

Edit: or not. I massaged a couple of slots on the nut and bridge of this guitar, also. When I play the 7th fret on the D string(A?) with some volume, it makes either the G or B ring out in an extremely high pitch. So I massaged those slots. It's about 90% gone. It started out of nowhere while playing through my new Hot Rod Deluxe.

I thought it was a microphonic tube at first so I replaced preamp tubes with no change. Tapped on them with no noise. Then I figured out it was the guitar. That was why I changed strings, also. I thought maybe I had a bum string but it didn't help at all. Only massaging the nut and saddle slots helped. Speaking of the Hot Rod...

I put a blue jewel on the HRDlx but it was still showing too much white/too washed out so I bought some blue silicone #47 bulb covers. It looks a ton better now. Let me resize these pics and I'll post them.

I changed the strings on my acoustic from 11-52 to 12-53. I was getting some buzzing on the G string and it was from my heavy picking hand while doing flatpicking runs. The heavier gauge fixed this problem as they are tighter and don't move around as much
 
I changed the strings on a couple of electrics before I give them to my son.
 
I played the hell out of my new Epi IBG LP Special and I purely love this thing. I love slab body guitars and I knew I'd enjoy this one but it's surpassed even what I expected. The P90 pro pickups are astoundingly good. Dropped the neck pickup a bit and rolled back on the volume some to cut the hum and it sings. Dig in a bit more and it starts to speak a little nastier. This is one of the least costly guitars I own and yet it's one of the best sounding and playing guitars I own. Kudos to Epi. Glad I jumped on this one when it came up locally.
 
I finally found the nut blank I misplaced and finished the job of changing my nut on my strat. It had to be fit and is so tight. I put it in with a little blue Loctite and clamped it. Should be real easy to get out next time.

Yep. That’s it. I just learned about it. Thing is i have so many projects at hand. I’m swamped. As the 335 was certainly going to the luthier, I figured why not drop of the Schecter. I would have been months before I got back to it. I’m really trying to spend more time playing.
 
switched the pickguard on my recently acquired Casino WE from white to black-pearl
and the switch-tip from white to black
still waiting for the knobs
