Hey all! It's been a while. I had to take a break from forums for a while (and the internet in general) but I decided to make an appearance again today!

I bought this Westcreek Revenge about a month ago as I wanted a guitar for chug/heavier tuned songs and I didn't want to spend a fortune so I went ahead and ordered this off of Amazon. All I can say is, holy hell, what a guitar! It plays like a guitar that costs 3x as much.

Right out of the box, this thing needed next to no work. The frets are all level (stainless steel frets btw!) and the nut was cut perfectly and it's a bone nut too!. I'm used to having to do some sort of work to those things with new guitars but this was absolutely mint! I did change the strings and polish the frets/conditioned the fretboard as it was a bit dry and of course, set it up to my preference. The pickups sound decent but they do make some squealing noise but I plan on swapping those out anyways. For now, they work. It has full sized 500k pots, and a tight feeling pickups select switch. The bridge and tailpiece are okay, but I will change that out as well as the tuners, they work but they are not great. I will get some locking tuners eventually. This thing looks killer as well! The neck is a very comfortable C shape, and it's a 24.75" scale.

For $339 CAD before taxes, this thing is insanely good. Just the stainless steel frets would be $500 upcharge on a "name" brand guitar.
