But that's ok....I ordered one guitar this week, after selling three. I decided to try a Casino. I thought I got a good deal on it at $449 new.

This will make 3 Hollowbody guitars in my arsenal. I have a Gretsch G5420T and a White Falcon.

I don't know what's happened to me. I just turned old enough to get free coffee at McDonald's and I'm finding myself playing things that don't require overdrive, listening to Jazz, going to blues jams with horn players. I've also whittled down the number of shred guitars I had to just one.

I still play some shreddy stuff, I'm just doing it on a Gretsch. Lol

Good to see you, by the way @nadnitram . We don't seem to have a welcome/introductions section yet. So I wanted to officially welcome you. I'm hoping more folks from the other sister sites will find their way here, and some of those who have fled to another non sister site.

Nothing wrong with gravitating back to our roots playing bluesier and jazzier stuff now. I was never into metal or shredding anyway but I'm also not interested in playing much bar rock and roll singing Bob Seger, Bad Company, and ZZ Top for the thousandth time. Time to mellow out a bit.

It's weird, I just unloaded my last Shredder today, an HM Strat. I'm thinking that I'm inclined more towards a Jackson or a Charvel. Probably a Jackson.

It’s funny, I’m kind of going the other way. I’ve only been playing a few years. I waited until I was 42 to learn to play. Mostly blues, southern rock, classic rock. Throw in some 90 rock for fun. My Dad of all people who really isn’t into metal picked up a Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid with a Floyd Rose on it. He just fell in love aesthetically with it. I recently started trying some drop C# stuff including Hail to the King. After setting his Schecter up for c#, I fell in love with EMGs! I have a Damien on order now lol.

Surprisingly, I haven't had much GAS since I picked up an Agile Harm 12-string over a year ago. Sure, I 'm sitting at 17 instruments right now, but I don't feel like I'm in need of anything. I never thought I'd get to this point, but here I am.

I'm going to purge a few more in the morning.. I'm getting rid of a lot of the low end stuff. Then later, I will get a couple of higher end ones. Down 8 in the last 7 days.
