Sharon Osbourne announces Ozzy’s final show: ‘This is his full stop’

The band will reunite to play a charity show with metal legends Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer.

The concert will mark the first time that Black Sabbath's original line-up - Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward - have played together in 20 years.

They need to pull off one last, perfect performance before they run out of time. They need to go out with a bang on top. Let the public have something good and special to remember them by. Ozzy needs to do this while he can still take the stage under his own power.

Neil Diamond has Parkinson’s as well. The last video I saw of him, he could hardly walk. There comes a time when one should be allowed to bow out.

I'm so tempted to try to get tickets and fly out there for the weekend to see this. Hopefully they can pull off a great show. I'm curious if Ozzy will come out and play with Jake and Rudy. It looks like a great lineup all around.

Rudy is a great bassist. I think his best playing was Ozzy’s Speak of the Devil. Are Jake and Rudy going to be on the ticket? They never played with Sabbath.

That’s what I’m hearing. It’s an all day festival with Metallica, Slayer and a bunch of acts playing. I heard there’s supposed to be some sort of jam with a bunch of players from different bands. It would be really cool if Ozzy could join Jake and Rudy but we’ll see.
