im connecting it to a boss street cube 2 via balanced xlr cables and using quarter inch for the guitar keying. ive tried a passive DI box, many different outlets and power strips, battery vs powered, and even had the peddle replaced.

Update: after months finally solved this. here it is if anybody has the same issue:

Apparently the cube street bc is battery powered is unbalanced and need an unbalanced connection from the mic (XLR usually balanced). this 20 dollar product into the mic input and there's no static at all. Im really glad I didn't give up on this (its been months) because this pedal is really nice, has great sound and harmonies and is SIMPLE.
