Hey everyone,
I don't know if any of you have had the chance to "fat out" of an acoustic guitar yet, but a few years ago I noticed that my old Seagull dreadnaught acoustic/electric was rubbing my right arm raw when I was playing it. Ends up it's my fat belly that can't handle a 4" deep acoustic body anymore; it was pushing my arm into an untenable position. I replaced my old Seagull with an Ovation with a mid-depth bowl last year, but I still find it awkward to hold. So I set out to research a quality thinline A/E today, and after going down a thinline rabbithole I just found a used one of these on Reverb at such a great price I had to pull the trigger. A new guitar was not on my radar at all.
It's the flagship all-solid wood Ibanez Steve Vai Euphoria thinline A/E, model EP10. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, made in China.
