That’s truly sad. I really liked him. I think I will throw on my Blue Murder CD and reminisce. The whole album was great. Too bad the radio stations at the time only played Jelly Roll. The restless bass in that song was killer. Great production as well.

Hey Scott! Hope you're doing OK, brother!

I don't care for Jelly Rolls music personally. But that's neither here nor there.

I don’t like him either. But this is the Jelly Roll I was talking about.

Whoops! 🤣🤣🤣

Edit: I've driven one of those Shelby Cobras. It's like an oversized go-kart. Handles like it's on rails and feels like it has no suspension whatsoever. I couldn't daily drive one. Nope. The clutch in the one I drove was very stiff, also. Not good for stop & go traffic. It was fun to drive otherwise, though.

Someone brought it into the shop to get some stuff fixed. The trunk hinge was busted, so we got one from the company that was making them for a while, and it needed a tune up and a few other odds and ends.

Edit 2: we ordered parts from this place, Superformance. I believe it was one of their cars. Don't know if it was a continuation model or a kit car. Either way, it was pretty damn fun!

@Wound_Up you should really check out Blue Murder’s self titled first album and their second that came out in the early 90’s. I really dig Franklin’s fretless bass in Jelly Roll. Sykes was a musical genius.

My Dad and Mom were both really into classic muscle cars. My dad just got rid of an 85 SS El Camino that he restored, and my mom still has a 1969 Camaro that was her daily driver until a couple of years ago.

My dad had a triple green 69 Dodge Super Bee. Green exterior, green vinyl interior, and a green vinyl top. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a pic of one with the stock, flat hood. Everybody puts Hemi hoods and stingers on theirs so you never see the one with the 2 chrome pieces on it like he had.

I love old Mopars.
