Just looked them up here in Germany

official price ~ € 2100-2150 - streetprice ~ €2000

no expensive / exotic wood top, no big extras, at least I can't see them

Who buys such guitars for such a price ?

You got me. Here in the US they list for $1.8K, which ridiculous. I have about $1.3K in my Warmoth/EMG/Callaham Strat, and it’ll jump all over a new Fender. Why the hell are they so expensive?

Those Hojicha-Burst models are not really available on the used market, only now or then one with a 'not so perfect' top
they only were made for a short time

officially they are offered in the €2300-2400 price range, so I got one from Japan and the other from the distributor in Slovenia
I've paid ~ 1900 and 1700
