New Boss Dual Digital Delay

I have a dual delay that I bought from Donner a couple of years ago. It's literally 2 delay pedals in a single enclosure. One for each "stereo" channel. It's different. Anybody looking to try one for cheap could try the Donner.

Controlling 2 parallel delay pedals and making it sound good isn't as easy as it seems lol. I usually only use 1 side for most things. They call it the "White Tape Delay" IIRC. I've got another delay, an MXR Carbon Copy/Keeley Mag Delay clone right next to it.

I think the Mag Delay is basically a Carbon Copy with all knobs accessible on the front vs the Carbon Copy that has 2 modulator controls in the back of the pedal. My clone from Mosky Audio has all 5 knobs accessible, also

Carbon Copy

You might want to try a Boss zDD200 or higher.n lot of bang for the buck.

Ehhh. I'm just not a big delay user. I have those pedals but I rarely ever use them for anything useful. I usually just screw around with them for 5 or 10 mins, then turn it off lol.

I tried again today with this new harmonizer pedal but i just wasn't feeling it 🤷 that harmonizer pedal is a bit wierd, also. I'll have to try it with a Fuzz. It seems to be a polyphonic pitch modulating pedal from what I can tell. It doesn't flip out if I hit more than 1 string at a time like most cheap octave pedals. I'd hope so, anyway, since it's an actual harmonizer pedal and not just an octave pedal.

I picked up a (TC Electronics?) Alter Ego Vintage Echo x4 a year or so ago. A lot going on there…cured me of wanting anything more complicated.

LOL! I told you I didn't need all of that, then went out and bought a Boss RE-202 Space Echo 🤣🤣🤣 it's on sale for $80 off right now. Theres another, the DM-101 that's also on sale for the same price but it's usually like $499. So it's 40% off right now. Around $299 also.

It says the DD200 that you recommended will emulated the original Roland RE-201 Space Echo and the Binson Echorec as well as a bunch of other stuff. Maybe I should've looked at it a little more? Lol. Nah. I've wanted a Space Echo since they came out so I finally got one. I don't have a particular need for it or anything. I just wanted it 🤷😆

The DM-101 Delay Machine. I'm about certain I could get Space Echo sounds from this thing. I probably should have considered it.

Didn't realize this was your thread, Vic. 🤣

I gotta stay away from you all. You're contributing to my pedal addiction 🤣

Looking at everything now, I shouldve looked at it all before buying the Space Echo. The thing this Dual Delay is based on, the SDE-3000, is only $249 right now. Marked down like a bunch of their delay stuff right now. The DM-101 was calling my name but I went for the Space Echo since that's the one Ive been wanting.

The SDE 3000 Dual Digital Delay. Normally $499. On sale for $249 also. I think EVH used one? They have an EVH striped version available that's still $500
