Just have this thing wired and ready to install.
I just can’t seem to keep anything simple though. I can’t just simply swap a pick guard. This guitar had a few marks and spots I wasn’t happy with, so it’s getting a refinish.

This is one of those Lashing made guards. Made from nitrocellulose. It’s used. It’s already starting to change from white to mint. Need the right light to see it.

The middle pic is the best representation. The guard against the white shows the mint.

It’s pairing with a 22 fret neck. So the chip at the top will be hidden.

You would probably benefit from finding a new way to stash picks with the Lashing.

Celluloid Nitrate can crack. Just reflect on all of the old strats you've seen with parts of the pickguard missing...the tip of the lower horn is a favorite, or the ubiquitous split at the height adjustment screws ...and you'll instantly get it!

Here ! Just look at my old crack...!

Here's a link to Lashing...
I think they're still ingesting oxygen...they might be open to visiting with you. I'm willing to bet they've a bunch of useful trivia about the care and feeding of one of theirs...
