Ernie Ball Cobalt Strings

I tried these for the first time yesterday on my chambered R8, they are LOUD and bright!

And stretched out/stayed in tune quicker than the usual Ernie Ball or D'Addario strings I use.

They're a little more expensive but worth it IMO, I love the way they sound!


Anyone else give these a try?

I’ve been using them for years. They really tighten up the bass when playing through high gain. Just don’t get crazy with a powered peg winder and over tighten them accidentally. The wound strings are quite brittle, and can snap easily at the peg head when winding them up. The plain steels are the same as their regular faire.
