Tip to a new player, or intermediate… Develop your ear as much as possible. It’ll be your greatest tool, despite your level of theory knowledge.

It could be famous guitarist, a guitar teacher you had, a family member, or even someone who plays a different instrument... My dad is my biggest influence when it comes to practicing, but who I listen/ed to the most that actually had an effect on my playing, seems to be Jimmy Page, Johnny...

HUGE fan here too as well. I lost track of all the times I've seen him with the Allmans, Mule, and solo. A big inspiration on my playing for sure.

This was from 8/11/24, which was 10 minutes from me.... I unfortunately could not make it.

I'll warm up at home before a show, for at least an hour or so over the course of the day. I play much better live when I do this.
