Our local university offers a program for the over 60yo crowd…two courses during fall and spring semesters for $25, with no credit. I decided to dive in with both feet this year and am about to embark on week two of Elementary Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL). These are the “heaviest”...

I haven’t had my CV50s down in a while. My ears are ringing courtesy of my Excelsior…and volume/pedal indiscretion :ROFLMAO:. Born to be mild.

And when they see it, they cannot unsee it.

I’ve noticed that many of the +40yo stickers in my collection are beginning to stick together. Must be time to toss them.

I use Boot Barn and Kuru (online) for leather shoes/boots. I have used Asics running shoes for years (once I had the size and model, bought off Amazon), but plan to move to the Hoka brand (we have a local store). Bicycle shoes I order potluck off the internet…currently have RC brand.

The MP 15/1 is a great amp…I’ve had two and passed them to family. My MP 5/1 shared a similar fate…also a great amp.

I like a modern C. The two Epi’s I had were a wider D.

Companies change over time, as do the people. A Mesa Boogie of some sort is still on my list…maybe someday.

🤷‍♂️ I don’t know other than profits as @BGood already pointed out. I had two really nice Epiphones a few years ago, but gifted them bc the necks (consistent on both guitars) just didn’t fit/feel right to me. Since I was buying my guitars online at the time (pandemonium), I ended up sticking...

Today I flogged my Excelsior and AC10C1, pulling down the following:

Nice! Only $5700. Might be something to do after the Mojotone Amp Building class. I’ll have to wait since I just signed up for a Spanish class at the local U.

Just about everything I do could be counted as a warm-up…no real progress here lately.

I still have these two Gretsch: I gave my third Gretsch to my son and an Epi to my son-in-law…so I still see them every once in a while.
