Sadly I don't have much knowledge on those 'older' Fujigen made Fenders, though I can try and ask Scott Zimmermann, who worked as a Masterbuilder at Fender and worked at Fujigen in the past he's a member of my FGN-group on facebook

The fakers are using wrong or outdated templates, they mostly get the knob-alignment wrong, too

How many years/decades ago? Epi doesn't make their own hardware, maybe the hardware-factory sells them or the hardware just is faked we know there are a sh!tload of fake Epi Pro-Buckers for sale

Sorry, that's just not true and one of the internet-myths for years.... Most €pis are made in two of their own factories - hard to belive any fakes are made there the remaining OEM-factories are (mostly) Samick, Indonesia - hard to believe they do fakes.....

GEWA bought Höfner some time ago. GEWA is largely owned by Thomann and they will deal with distribution. Violins will still be made as will the 500/1 bass. That explains why Johann (Hans) Thomann is CEO at Höfner About 25 production staff have been kept on. So for the moment it seems the name...

Thanks, it took me more than a decade to get what I have. I haven't tried if the necks are interchangeable, though I can ask this question in my fb-group to get answers from 'inside Fujigen'

I don't think he went downstairs to hell...... ps after reading who he did support, the pic shows probably the right place
