Just trying to figure out where everyone is. This is a decent forum with good content and members, how come it isn’t busier. We have a format that hasn’t changed like all the other guitar forums and every one complains about including myself and a couple of other members here. Are there any ideas that can make it busier?

Posting more usefull than useless things - and inviting others could be a start to get it up and running

That could be difficult. It seems like there isn’t much traffic here to start with.

To some extent it could be forum saturation, and not just music forums. I think most of these are the denizens of older males, as the yoots these days have other social media, and sadly, we are a dying breed ...

The "guitar discussion culture" has pretty much migrated over to Facebook groups and Reddit.

Canadian media conglomerates like Enthused Digital and now Vertical Scope went around and bought up 99% of the old-school guitar forums years ago. The only one of those still active with any amount of participation or engagement is TGP.

The handful of independant sites left are bascially dead - no traffic.

Yes, my FGN-group is doing well

founded six years ago, more traffic than some forums - and it's just about one brand of guitars
