Their "business model" makes no sense.

Buy an old-school discussion forum - all of which are dying due to the advent of Facebook groups and Reddit - then drive away all the longtime members with trolling, then launch a little army of ChatBots & sock puppet accounts.

Yup. I don't get that either. I've had some moderator to admin discourse with our VS contact and made some suggestions relative to our Epiphone Forum that got no traction whatsoever. We don't have all that many active members to begin with and after the conversion a few left we enjoyed having around. VS's attitude was more or less "so what more will join". I'm pretty old school myself so I have a very hard time respecting that attitude. Peter is good at sorting out the potential BOTS and when I find them and they contribute nothing of value I'll just delete their posts and remove them from the site. We want active members posting about gear not BOTS.
