it is indeed a FGN for the price of a (new) MiC Squier...

are there shops that stock them ?

US, and FGN never quite made the mark here. Aside from one, all my other FGNs were bought used, from people that didn't appreciate the brand. So no, the music shops here don't stock any FGNs.

some years ago there had been a few shops, sadly not anymore
FGN is working on a new/other way of distribution since the last NAMM-show
The current tariff-talks sure doesn't help to go forward in this case.

Gladly we have a good distributor, lots of shops and a well sorted used market here.

Years ago I've bought some new ones, lately I've bought mostly direct from Japan (new and used)
via Zen-Market or from big stores like Kurosawa, Ishibashi and Ikebe.
