Hi!
So, for a while now I’ve been dealing with a weird problem. Whenever I engage two of my slightly-more-than-crunch drive pedals(TS8 and/or Nobels ODR-1), I get instant feedback, even when playing with IEM’s, no monitor or ways for the feedback to be coming from the pickups.
My pedalboard consists of a Boss ES-8, with an HX Stomp set up in both a mono and stereo loop, using the Stomps FX-loop, 5 different drive pedals, all powered by a Gigrig modular power system.
Once I got the feedback to go away using the ES-8’s ability to reorder the pedals, by moving the pedal causing the feedback to another place in the line. However this solution hasn’t been consistent.
What’s weird is, this problem only occurs when I go stereo straight to the board, but not when I go (without ampsim) through an amp.
Have any of you guys experienced these kinds of weird feedback things with loop switchers and/or the HX Stomp?
I’m guessing it might have something to do with some sort of spillover in either the HX Stomps FX loop or the ES-8’s loops, but it’s hard to diagnose thoroughly.
