My grandmother smoked Lucky Strikes. From age 13, every time she fired up she'd ask "would you like a Lucky?". Apparently in her day (WW2) Lucky Strikes were highly sought after as they were reserved for the troops overseas (never realizing that the rear echelon commandos in the supply units were hoarding them, leaving the "Chesterfields" for the front line troops...I guess Chesterfields sucked.
Anyway, she about fell over when I took her up on her offer. I didn't like them. Preferred filters.
Smoked that shit for 27 years. But it wasn't gram's fault...The likes of Fred Flintstone and John Wayne got me started....
Do they even make Luck Strikes anymore?
