Tech21 TM30 - problem | edit: fixed

One of my Trademark 30 Combos stopped working....
started yesterday at rehearsal, the amp faded out, with some distorted sounds,
today no sound at all.
Checked the fuse, and cables / plugs, no visible failure.

Any ideas where to look next - other than bringing it to a tech ?

No, not yet
though I never used the loop by now

Shoot some Deoxit in there and wiggle that plug in and out. You should do the same to all effect loops on your multiple amps.

Couple of my Tech 21’s needed that. I think there’s a relay or something for channel switching and each went south after a few years of hard use, neglect, and salt air.

That's a known issue on amps that don't get much fx loop use. Stuff builds up on the jack plug and the contacts separate, causing no sound. I have silicone/rubber 6.35mm plugs in mine to hopefully keep it from happening.
