This model is offered here new for €1600-2000 - I paid ~half of the lower price

No, they're made in China these days, if my research is right, they're made at the chinese Cort factory,
the MiC PRS-SE models are made there, too - and the ones I had were great.

The FGN has a Mahag body with a solid Cedar-Top,
the €pi has a Mahag body with a solid Spruce-Top
and the Sigma has Flamed Koa body and solid Koa-Top
 
Can anybody tell where / which factory in China is building the current Sigma-Guitars ?

I could not find anything on their website, and a Sigma-Guitar facebook group got me nothing by now.
