Has anyone else been getting an increase in scam phone calls? I'm in Canada, so maybe it's different where you are but it's almost on a daily, sometimes twice daily I will get a call from a scammer in the form of a lotto or Amazon scam. Recently I got a call asking me if I wanted to sell my house, of which I don't own a house and live in an apartment. Are people really this gullible? Is it just the elderly that fall victim to these scum of the earth, low lives?

That's how phishing (spearphishing?) works. Cast the bait 237,683 times, you'll get some bites. Might land a few.

I get none of that. I also let everything go to voicemail, unless I know the caller. Even then voicemail is an option.

Same here. If you're not in my contacts directory the call won't be answered. If it's legit they will always leave a message I can return when convenient......or not. With caller ID and VM I don't know why anyone should be bothered by unwanted scam calls.
