The one I ordered this past week came in today. I talked about it here but didn't want to muck up someone else's thread with my stuff so I'm making a new thread.

Before I bought this, I had a modulated delay pedal, a Keeley Mag Echo/MXR Carbon Copy clone, and a Donner 'White Tape stereo/dual delay' pedal back to back for both options. Somehow I didn't realize when I ordered it that the Space Echo replaces both of those. As a bonus it sounds 1000x better! I finally have a great sounding delay pedal! You don't know how much that irked me when I'd use mine. They never sounded like everybody's Boss delay pedals lol.

I have no idea what all this thing can do nor can I take advantage of it all lol. But it'll be fun playing with it. I'm still not exactly sure why I thought I needed this 🤣 Oh well. It's here now and it ain't going anywhere. 👌 I guess I can thank @3bolt79 for this one 😁😉 He recommended a really nice Boss Delay and right after telling him I didn't need it, I ordered this 🤣🤷🤣 Yes, I have a problem lmfao!

The only thing I've noticed that I don't like is that the footswitches don't move up and down that much. Less movement than the avg switch. It makes it so l can't use footswitch toppers on them because they keep the switch from engaging because they're too long apparently.

Those are very cool. It’s funny how hard we try to emulate warbly tape delays. Back then, those guys would have killed for a super-clean digital delay!

You're 100% right about that. You wouldn't believe how much better the wow & flutter sounds vs the $40 delay I was using. It's unbelievable how different they are and how much better the Boss sounds.

It's crazy how much more I've been using this. The saturation knob pretty much makes it an always on boost pedal. I never expected that I'd actually use it this much 😍 At $299, it's well worth the money, IMO.

Although, after watching the JHS vid going over the Boss DM-101 fully analog Delay Machine, I'm almost wishing I'd have bought that instead. It seems to be able to cover a decent amount of space echo sounds plus a ton of other stuff. I may have to see if I can catch it on sale sometime later. It uses the same basic form factor as the Space Echo.
