Do you keep records on what or how much you spend / sell ( or even make profit )
on your gear ?

Last year 2024
  • I've bought 10 guitars for € 7100.- and sold 9 for € 3250.-
  • I've bought 6 amps for € 1360.- and sold 3 for € 430.-
  • so I've spent € 4780.- in 2024 total

This year 2025
  • I've bought 8 guitars for € 7920.- and sold 7 for € 3470.-
  • I've bought 2 amps for € 220.- and sold 2 for € 290.-
  • so I've spent € 4380.- in 2025 by now - the bad thing is, the year isn't over......

How about you ?
Some of us might make sure, the wife doesn't look over your shoulders while typing

I started out keeping receipts of all the bits and pieces and guitars I’ve bought since I started building (assembling) guitars (about 2014.) But have since stopped. I really should sit down and add it all up. Probably take me a week.

I haven’t sold anything.
