Customizing my Orange Crate pix BXT 100 Combo Amp

Not sure if it’s possible but I’m looking to put a Switchcraft 12a speaker input type switch on my Orange Crate BXT 100 combo internal amp which right now does not have a speaker input on it, reason being in case the amp fails while in action so I can just plug in a external bass amp head into the combo to use the combo speaker cabinet safely as back up…

Alternatively…I’ve installed a longer speaker wire to allow moving the speaker cable easily to a head sitting on the combo cab. Requires less engineering. Pin the speaker cable short end in the back of the cab with a little strap and a screw to keep it from pulling off the speaker spades.
