    Facelifts…Aria Pro II Knight Warrior

Well it’s now going on 3:30 and I’ve taken it apart and started working on the neck. I also polished the frets with my Dremel and some mildly abrasive metal paste polish on a felt wheel. Here’s some pics before rubbing the paint out by hand and then hitting it with a buffing pad on my drill...

    Facelifts…Aria Pro II Knight Warrior

I’m going to start off this thread by explaining to you what I mean by the term “Face Lift.” I have a few guitars in need of one. I am going to be leaving this thread as not open for reply for now, at least until I get the first guitar done. I have an 1985 Aria Pro II Knight Warrior and a...

What did you do to your guitar today?

Well not my guitar, but my son’s. He was over in Germany for 2 years. He had 3 guitars with him. I just finished cleaning the gunk off his Strat and I set it up. It looks pretty good now. He had no AC during the summers, and just had small wall heaters in the winter time. I had to scrub...

    SG neck dive

I prefer the SG Stanard over the 61. The 61’s seem to sit more to the left and dive easier, but Irvine stand I use a leather strap and ply the guitar a little to my right, like I do with a Tele and my forearm holds it in place no problem. My leather straps aren’t rough or suede on the backside...

What did you do to your guitar today?

Yeah, I got it fixed now and was playing it earlier. Those screws are pot metal or something. If It happens again, I will get a better bridge.

What did you do to your guitar today?

It’s actually the screw. I got it sorted and I have a few extra parts now. It’s intimated and I won’t have tobother it again. The factory bridge is just cheap. I put NYXL 11-56 on it.

What did you do to your guitar today?

I had to re do the bridge on my es 335 again after another saddle broke. What a cheap POS bridge.
