Fat neck for me is my biggest no go for a guitar. Feel the neck, if it's fat there's no point in looking any further. Sales guys don't get it too - I'll be like "nah, this isn't going to work" and they'll be trying to talk about the rest of the guitar.

I'm more of a "one of each" type of guitar owner. At the moment I don't have a semi-hollow or hollow body and it kinda feels like a gap in the stable.

IMO half the point of getting a vintage Fender tube amp is for the godlike spring reverb. Buying a Fender without reverb is like buying a Mesa without distortion.
