I ordered a Pignose amp from SW (sale price)…don’t need it, but always kinda wanted one. I also ordered a Seismic 4x6 loaded cab as a science experiment…yeah, I don’t need it either.

Yup, I’ve left more than one of my top facing control amps on for extended periods…doesn’t seem to hurt anything. I put the little R2D2 looking nightlights (with the daylight sensor taped over) on my power strips so I get an indication that power is on even when the lights are on…very apparent...

Pricey…but I want it.

How worth it was it? I have a Supro BK10 that is picky abt the guitar/pickups. I’ve almost traded it a couple of times, but didn’t bc I got a super deal on it (too). It loves this little Gretsch, making a sweet little rig for just under $600. Blessings.

A beauty of a steal here at $259 new (Adorama). Looks perfect, feels perfect, tuned right up and appears to be intonated as well. This guitar is darn nice! I still have to give the truss a twist to make sure it responds…but no issues at all. Ignore the strap, I’m getting a new one…had to play it.

Cool. I would of never thought of trying a left hand bridge on mine…hmmm (eyeing nervous candidates on the wall).

Today I went to a “Deaf Chat” at a local coffee house. It was cool with nice people (probably thirty attending). It reminded me of when I lived in Japan, where I only knew how to order a beer and ask where the bathroom was…I really need to up my game.

There have been a couple of mornings when a part of my brain says “you don’t have to go.” But, after I get there, I feel pretty good about it. First exams coming up soonish.
