Just grabbed anice Vox AV30 last night. Man this amp sounds good. I'm presently shooting it out with the Deluxe Reberb Tone Master, that by itself is an incredible amp, but the little Vox gives it a ride for its money. And that is just on one setting amongst the 8 available.
Sounds tuby to me.
The AV30 has a single input, foot switchable dual channel amplifier that included two 12AX7 tubes. One half of the first 12AX7 tube powered the preamp of the first channel, the second half powered the preamp of the second. The other 12AX7 served as the driver for a 30 watt solid state power amplifier. Dual channel, multi-circuit preamp provides eight analog models. Also has Bright, Fat, Bias and Reactor switches and three analog voiced digital effects, chorus, delay and reverb.
