Your 'Weapons of Choice' for today....[pics preferred]

Hi guys. My first comment, and I'm happy to find a place where FGN guitars are realized for how good they are.

Hi, welcome here @GearTalk

Love their own singlecut shape. My J-Standard is identical to yours!

Since you're the FGN guru here, I was told the body is basswood. It has a serious kick when cranked up, and I love the tone, but am curious if you know the specs of that model. When there's better light, I'll get pics of both of my singlecuts and add them here.

Yep, I currently own 13 and two Pupukea Ukes - had 11 or 12 more in the past

Thank you, sir. So, basswood it is. That makes it even that much cooler as I see it.

Mine was bought recently used with the BK Rebel Yell set. The one best word to explain its tone -- BOOYAH!

I know this feeling!

The JFL-C was never officially available in Germany, the Distributor found one in their warehouse and I've bought it for ~ €900 IIRC
it even had a pair of Seymour Duncans....

When I've bought my first FGN (LC10) more than a decade ago I was blown away.....

sold nearly all of my other guitars, including Gibson and Fender to get more FGNs
never looked back
