I have a cheap desk (or bar, I don't remember) chair, also height adjustable ... and on wheels. I took the back and arm rests and padded it with sheep skin. Purrrfect. It used to be my easel chair in the painting studio. Eloize enjoying it 20 years ago.

There's a huge difference with the 50's, less so with the '59. For some it takes more than 15 minutes at the store to get comfortable with thick necks. If you can rent for a week, that would be a better experience. You might not want thinner after that, like me.

This has been my #1, 2, 3 amp for the past six weeks, the only one I here here at the cottage. Chassis housed in a home made 12" cab. Not complaining a bit.

Then you need to look for the ones that have that kind of neck. - 2010 LP Trad Pro, LP Jr 57 Reissue, 2019 and later LP Special, LP 50's, LP 59, LP Jr, and I'm sure there are others I don't remember for the moment.

What is that neck fitting your preferences ?
